A 30h YACEP® workshop for everyone who loves yoga.
Yoga is magic, the magic of inner experience. In this journey to the chakras, we discover doors into these inner worlds of experience, doors to the landscapes beyond the mind. There lies hidden what you are, and deep within it the magic of existence.
A journey through the chakras is a journey to yourself.
We discover new and surprising perspectives on these centers, on the one hand through the traditions, but also through direct experience. In this yoga course you will discover the tantric traditions that have distilled this knowledge, read mystical texts and practice wonderful yoga. Come with us on this special journey!
This yoga training is aimed at both advanced practitioners and beginners and is suitable as a YOGA ALLIANCE® further training of 30 hours according to YACEP®.

Where? How much?
This yoga training takes place at Matsya Yoga in our center in the Wachau. The course runs from Wednesday to Sunday. Course fees are 500 Euro without accommodation at our center and 800 Euro including accommodation with us.
Our workshop
What’s Special?
In this workshop we dive deep into the chakras, their history and mysticism.
We discover yoga kriyas, meditations, exercises and a variety of techniques related to these mystical centers. For a deeper understanding, we will study the traditional texts and discover step by step the magical world from which this knowledge comes. In this way, we understand their original meaning and thus also their actual power.
We come to the center. We meditate, practise, exercise and draw in our beautiful yoga studio in the Wachau.

The book for the workshop
A Journey Through the Chakras
This book is a special part of our workshop and now also available separately for all enthusiasts.
It takes you on an inspiring journey through the history of the chakras – from their origins in Tantra to their place in modern Hatha Yoga. Additionally, it includes practical exercises for chakra activation and outlines yogic techniques to create a profound and energizing yoga practice.
A special section of the book is dedicated to the Sat-Chakra-Nirupana, a mystical 16th-century text that describes the chakras in a deeply spiritual way. At the end of the book, you’ll find a translation of this significant work.

Funding
Funding Opportunities in Vienna
Our school proudly holds the Ö-Cert certification, making our workshops and training programs eligible for funding through the WAFF (Wiener ArbeitnehmerInnen Förderungsfonds) and other funding agencies across Austria.
The WAFF Education Account supports our workshops with up to €500 in a straightforward process. The key requirement is that the training is relevant to your current or desired career path. If you can demonstrate this connection, funding approval from WAFF is highly likely.
Eligible are persons who:
- Are employed under the General Social Insurance Act (ASVG).
- Are on parental leave.
- Are a “new self-employed” individual insured under the Trade Social Insurance Act.
Important: Main residence must be in Vienna.
Unemployed persons can also be supported if they:
- Are registered as unemployed with AMS Vienna or listed as job seekers.
- Receive minimum income support or child care benefits.
