Introduction to Kriyas
Kriya is the action that awakens the universal power of action – Kriya Shakti – and thus opens the path to freedom. Kriya is also a discipline, i.e. an action that is performed with conscious intention. This means that a kriya comprises a single action or a sequence of actions aimed at a specific goal.
It is said that achieving ultimate freedom in life is impossible, as long as the power of action, Kriya Shakti, is inactive. But as soon as this universal power of action is awakened, the path to freedom opens up.
Only then is spiritual growth possible.

Introduction to Pranayama
Pranayama runs like an invisible thread through the fabric of every Kriya practice. It is the soul of every practice, just as the breath gives life to the body. Let this breath of life blossom naturally in your exercises.
This material on pranayama was originally intended for teacher training, but it is necessary to teach the basics of the pranayama techniques mentioned here in order to be able to perform the following kriyas correctly. However, your best teacher always remains your own attention.

Ājñā Kriyā
Ajna is the command. It is not only the place from which you direct your own being, but rather the place from which you receive the inspiration of the highest. This commandment is your purpose of existence.
Meditative contemplation on your true mission of being is therefore the greatest kriya of the precepts (ajna).

Pavanmuktasana I
The way this Pavanamuktasana is presented here, is different from the one originally taught by Satyananda.
I present Pavanmuktasana here as we teach it in our Kundalini yoga tradition.
This anti-rheumatic series is much more than a series against joint pain. It is a very energetic series that can release energy blockages and stimulate the circulation of the spinal fluid.
When performed with deep breathing, this exercise expands consciousness and has powerful healing properties for mind and body.

A Tantric Opening
This opening, which can be practiced at the beginning of every class, is a dance with sound.
This dance honors the goddess as the energy of the six chakras and moves it through your being. It was passed on to me by my friend and teacher. Rainer Neyer from the lineage of Dhirendra Brahmacari.
