What is Hatha and Kundalini Yoga?
Our 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training in Vienna is a profound and comprehensive journey into the heart of Hatha and Kundalini Yoga. Our curriculum follows the highest standards and offers a balanced mix of theoretical and practical elements.
Hatha and Kundalini Yoga
We teach Hatha and Kundalini Yoga, not teaching a mixture of these styles, but tracing the roots of Hatha back to Tantric Kundalini Yoga, thus creating a natural unity. Our journey to the powerful roots of yoga illuminates the unity between its flaming soul in Kundalini Yoga and the richness of its practice in Hatha Yoga.
Our training program will give you confidence and competence, strengthen you as a yoga teacher, and support you on your personal journey.
Our training follows a long tradition of yoga that goes back to Dhirendra Brahmachari, Satyananda, Sri Aurobindo and the tantric lineage of Laksmanjoo.
Quality and depth
We attach great importance to the quality of our training and integrate important tantras and classical yoga texts into our training in a playful way. We also incorporate the associated philosophy and practice into our teaching.
The Devi Mahatmya, the Vijnana Bahirava Tantra and the Shiva Sutras are also part of our special content in the 300h training. In practical application, we teach the special yoga of Sukhma Vyayama as well as tantric meditations.

We offer our 300h yoga teacher training course in such a way that anyone can take part, regardless of whether they are working or have a family commitment. We are delighted if we can work with your schedule.
The training is offered on several months of the year, an individual timetable means that you pick the modules and lessons in these months that are feasible for you in terms of time. You will then stay with us until all 300 hours have been completed and all modules have been attended, and of course until you feel confident and strong in teaching.
Take your time
The 300h training is best completed over a period of one year (intensive is also possible), as many subjects are taught and a longer period of time offers the right framework to slowly come into deeper contact with oneself.
Students have the opportunity to participate whenever it is possible for them. This allows us to adapt the training to the needs of our students without sacrificing quality. All yoga classes in the studio can also be attended during this period!
Structure of the 300 hours of training:
The 300h yoga training is divided into five modules, each of which includes 1st week, Mon. – Fri, The first four modules of the 300h training are almost identical to those of the 200h training.
Each of the five modules also concludes with a simple self-reflection test.
1st Module - History and philosophy of Kundalini & Hatha Yoga
In the first module, we read the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Bhagavad Gita and the Ishavasya Upanishad and delve into the foundations of the philosophy of yoga. What is yoga, is the real question, and what does yoga mean for us today?
We will explore how modern Hatha Yoga evolved from the ancient Tantra of Kundalini Yoga, examining the key spiritual and historical milestones responsible for this development.
2nd Module - Yogic anatomy, chakras, koshas, prana, western anatomy
In this second module we discover the inner world of yoga, a world of vision and magic.
We travel to the tantras and read the Sat Chakra Nirupana, we learn exercises to travel the inner worlds, discover sound as the goddess, the levels of individual reality – the koshas, prana as the flow of life and also western anatomy
3rd Module - class organization, didactics, asana, kriya
In this third module we look at the art of teaching yoga, the design and structure of classes and the didactics embedded in them.
We learn how a class can find a natural flow and how everyone can develop their talents in the expression of yoga. We discover the Pavanmuktasana, Sukshma Vyayam, Important 42 Asanas and Kriya.
4. Module - Bandha, Mudra, Pranyama, Mediatation
In this fourth module we discover the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and the Goraksha Shataka, both texts dealing with Kundalini Yoga and basic techniques such as bandha and mudra and the breathing techniques of yoga.
We also immerse ourselves in meditation and in this context deal with the Vjnana Bhairava Tantra.
5. Module - Tantra, Siva Sutras Meditation and and Vijnana Bhairava Tantra.
We get to know the beauty of tantric philosophy and immerse ourselves in the mysticism of the Devi Mahatmya. The Devi Mahatmya is a journey to the struggle for the authenticity of the soul in which the power of darkness can be overcome by the Goddess, the soul.
Afterwards we discover the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra. This tantra is a journey to tantric meditation. This form of meditation seeks a way to turn all human experience into a vehicle of cosmic experience.
I look forward to you joining us on this journey.

Classes
In our school it is very important to us that you get enough opportunity to teach so that you can experience yourself in action. You will have the opportunity to teach at least two yoga sessions per training. In this way, we give you the opportunity to receive feedback and get to know yourself and your talents.
The trainer will pay particular attention to the potential for improvement in your class, but above all to your hidden talents.
Because whenever you express what you are really good at, whatever you do will become great.
Easy and fun examinations
At the end of each week we will give you a simple exam to take with you over the weekend. This exam will help you to integrate your knowledge and reflect on your experiences. This is good for you, because what you express sinks deeper and what you put into words becomes clear.
